Submission Type: AP-S (not URSI) 3-4 page, 2-column Paper

Please complete the following fields carefully. The data that you enter here will be used in the published conference proceedings, so be certain that the data is accurate. These fields are required.

Paper Title

Title should EXACTLY match the paper submitted. Avoid using LaTeX codes in the paper title entered here; all elements in the title should be representable in a Unicode font. Maximum length of title is 1000 characters.

Make sure the full title is entered; beware of line breaks when pasting from a PDF file.

Short Abstract

Provide an abstract paragraph that summarizes this paper. The abstract should be 200 words or fewer.

Student Paper Competition

Requirements for eligibility (see Student Paper Competition for more details):

  1. The student must be the only student author of this paper,
  2. The student must be the first author on this paper,
  3. The student must be a student at the time of paper submission, and
  4. All coauthors' contributions to the paper (including your own) are primarily advisory or editorial.
  5. This paper presents substantially new work when compared to other work by any of the authors and has NOT been presented at, published in, or submitted for consideration to another conference or publication, consistent with IEEE and AP-S Policies for conference and journal papers.

All submissions to the student paper competition MUST prepare and submit ALL of the following files in order to be considered complete. Incomplete submissions will not be considered for either the SPC or the symposium regular topics.

  • Blind, 2-column, 3-4 page AP-S Paper, NO AUTHOR-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
  • Publish-ready, 2-column, 3-4 page AP-S Paper, WITH FULL AUTHOR LISTING AND REFERENCES
You may also enter the Industry Paper Competition and/or the Industry Application Idea Pitch Competition. If you are selected as a finalist in more than one competition, IEEE policy allows only one award for a given achievement, so you will be asked to choose one competition and withdraw from the other.
