Requirements for eligibility (see Student Paper Competition for more details):
- The student must be the only student author of this paper,
- The student must be the first author on this paper,
- The student must be a student at the time of paper submission, and
- All coauthors' contributions to the paper (including your own) are primarily advisory or editorial.
- This paper presents substantially new work when compared to other work by any of the authors and has NOT been presented at, published in, or submitted for consideration to another conference or publication, consistent with IEEE and AP-S Policies for conference and journal papers.
All submissions to the student paper competition MUST
prepare and submit ALL of the following files in order to
be considered complete. Incomplete submissions will not be
considered for either the SPC or the symposium regular topics.
- Blind, 2-column, 3-4 page AP-S Paper, NO AUTHOR-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
- Publish-ready, 2-column, 3-4 page AP-S Paper, WITH FULL AUTHOR LISTING AND REFERENCES
You may also enter the Industry Paper Competition and/or the Industry Application Idea Pitch Competition. If you are selected as a finalist in more than one competition, IEEE policy allows only one award for a given achievement, so you will be asked to choose one competition and withdraw from the other.
